I am not saying that everybody shouldn’t take flu shots just be smart about this. Get your prevention and immune boosting tools in place.
2. Wash your hands with hot soapy water. If you are not going to be around water carry towelettes but when you return home wash your hands with soap.
3. If you have been around sick people or people with any type of upper respiratory issues change all of your clothes immediately.
It ’s airborne droplets from sneezes and coughs that spread influenza. I come home and stand by the dirty clothes hamper and drop my outerwear off ALL the time.
Keep outer coats and shoes in a separate area–a mudroom or foyer. Whatever germs that are on the clothes stay away from you.
If you don’t have a mudroom or foyer then at least don’t put your coats, hats, and shoes in your bedroom where you sleep or in your closet with your inside clothes.
4. Avoid touching your hands to your nose, eyes, or mouth. Your hands carry about 3,200 bacteria from 150 different species.
This is what you are placing in your mouth, eyes, and nose. There is a serious war being waged against the human being
5. Please cover your nose and mouth with

Oseltamivir has also been associated with delirium and self-harm behaviors in teenagers.
Always check with your physician before using any medication.
7. If you opt to go to a Naturopath they may recommend whole food juices(Vitamix) like carrot, beet, cucumber or carrot, celery, parsley, spinach.
Extracts like Compounded Echinacea(an antiviral and secretory immune formula), elderberry extract and Compounded Echinacea/Goldenseal(an antiviral, antibacterial and antibiotic formula).
Vitamins like Ester C or ascorbic acid crystals to help flush toxins. For nasal and chest congestion cleaners like cayenne and garlic or peppermint tea are recommended.
For children try Ginger Wonder Syrup and aromatherapy formulas that contain oils like oregano, eucalyptus, peppermint and frankincense.
Always check with your Naturopath before using any alternative and holistic substances.
8. What should you eat? Well, keep it light. Soups, broths with lots of raw garlic, veggie juices and and green drinks with alkaline water. Avoid sugar, dairy, alcohol and tobacco.
